SAM

Not to boast or what , but seriously college had been exuberant . On 5th , after orientation we were placed into our classes . I only knew 2 person there , Susanna M Lim and Adam Andrew . I was actually unsatisfied with the fact that I have to stick to my classmates for the whole year .

Originally in my head I though we'd be swapping classmates/class every subjects , or we'd be learning in a huge lecture hall where everyone who's taking that subject will be inside , but instead its pretty much like schooldays (ceh ) . But all's good now , i kinda know all my classmates already .

I've people from Sarawak and all around Malaysia in class , so when you think of it , it's kinda cool having us mixed up like that .

And the learning system there , is extremely entertaining . I would say it's nothing like high school . Yeah , times when you were spoon-fed every knowledge or information that's written on textbook . Here we do activities and research ourselves . Thrilling actually , when you think of it .

Oh by the way Im taking 5 subjects for SAM .
1.English
2.Mathematics
3.Psychology
4.Legal Studies
5.Economics

I think the subjects I enjoy the most so far is Psychology and Legal Studies . For Psychology we did quizzes (you know , the personality test from cleo's all that ? ) and testify whether its reliable or not . We even played some games whereby you have to speak 2 statements , for one is false and one is true . So we guys have to figure out which is true

Our psychology teacher gave an example : *oh she was wearing ALL brown by the way .

she said :
........' A) I like the colour Brown - '
................'- or B) I like the colour Pink .

she asked ;

.......'so which is true ? - '
..................'- those who say statement A is correct , raise up their hands'

And practically everyone in class raised up their hands . I kinda know this is a trick question so I chose statement B .

...... 'Alright , I like the colour Pink '

Surprisingly , everyone was amused by this . Ok wtv moving on ; I'll give you guys a try on this . These are my statements , which is true ?

A: I like to eat .
B: I dont like to eat .


Ok I give you time to think .


I know it's a hard one .

When i said this , the lecturer gave me a sarcastic smile and blurted ;
' oh LET me guess ...... *pauses* ........ - A ?'

Aduh ! hahah i know la i know . ish . Anyway that game basically is not to judge a book by its cover . Psychology is like the study of human behaviour , how mind works , and to see a clearer picture & to analyse your surroundings . Cool eh ?

Can't wait to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S and some movies the lecturer gonna bring us in . All we do is just watch .... and try to decipher their personality . Haha :D

Oh and about Legal Studies . Woah , it's really informative . Coming from a lawyer-family-orientated background , I never had the initiative to ask about Law . But it really is interesting learning them . We had a debate over controversial issue on the very first day ;

'Do you agree on homosexuality / same-sex marriage ? '

So there were only 3 people who was against it . All was pro-homo . Haha . But somehow , lecturer called me up and ask me to explain why I'm pro-homo .

Obviously I stuttered alot because ... I also am not sure why ? So I just crapped .....

......'Oh .. because they're still humans ... and I have friends which are gays .... uuhh ... I mean it's not right to discriminate them just because of who they are ? I mean they have rights too , just like others .... - '

And the lecturer cut me off and disagreed ( oh he was pro-homo too , he was just testing me )
.......' But why !? It's against the religion ?!?! It's wrong ! It's not natural ?!?! '

And Im like ...
......'uhh .. oh .... but still it's not right to have like double standards ... umm ....they have rights too ... umm oh shit .....' Imagine my face .

But I tried defending my opinions , still . Then he cut again ...

...........'You queer ! '
....................'You fag !'

Wtf . I really am clueless what to reply HAHAHAHAHA imagine la your lecturer say that to you . But he said earlier in class not to take this personally cause he is just teaching you to voice out .

And I just stood there and just smiled innocently HAHAHA wtf

Somehow that made me eager to say what my opinions are . Made me felt good , to be heard , even just for a few sentences , after being bombarded with all those comments hahahahaha !

Oh today Lyn joined our class . You know her , how fickle her mind is . Ha-ha

And who knows , best have yet to come ! Yeahhuu ;)
